YOUR ROLE
- Solve complex business problems with data and use data scientific tools to find solutions for challenges in the realm of both big & small data.
- Actively participate in cross-functional project teams in the execution of our data and analytics strategy.
- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or other STEM field (master's degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant data science work experience
- Fluent English speaker
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proven track record of delivering data science products from idea to deployment
- Experience using statistical computer languages (Python and SQL knowledge is a must) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
- Business acumen and ability to work closely with non-technical teams
- Microsoft Azure (DevOps, machine learning, etc.) & Docker experience is preferable
