Information Security Officer - Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait " NBK "

Job Purpose

Perform all required daily operations of Information Security and be responsible of technical security projects assigned in the Action plan or ad-hoc.

Key Accountabilities

  • Participate in Information Security Risk Assessments, Vulnerability & penetration testing or any other related projects to gather and report required tasks based on specific assignment by the information security Head.
  • Receive and act on the information security access requests received through formal channels from ABK-Egypt users
  • Assist in implementing the baseline standards align with ABK Group Information Security Management Framework on ABK Egypt within the CBE guidelines and governmental laws.
  • Assist to alignment with the best standards such as ISO 27000 Series, COBIT5, PCI-DSS, Basel or any other similar standards. 
  • Monitor and analyses all information security related events, logs or systems assigned to him by the Information Security Head,
  • Resolve and follow up to complete any request in compliance and accordance to information security framework and procedures
  • Provide reports on any violations and suggest insights to enhance monitoring based on implemented information security controls, Audit findings and assignments.
  • Handle information security incidents investigate their root cause and follow up with analysis until closure, within the boundaries of incident handling policy and procedure.
  • Respond to assigned investigations by the information security head to resolve within the available tools and resources and provide accurate investigation reports.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience in Computer Science or Business Managament & Admistration

Experience

At least 5 years in Information Technology

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. * Coordinate with various owners within the bank for raw data collections necessary to support the required analysis of either (Quantitative or Qualitative) data & liaise with the IT partners for building the different data marts & Bank pool database.

  1. *Prepare the data mining & variable analysis on the raw data collected from different domains of the bank to provide the different analytics insights.

  1. *Use the Qualitative & Quantitative data to analyze different commercial & business objectives moving from the normal Descriptive Analysis to Predictive analysis.

  1. *Analyze “QNBAA internal Structured or unstructured Data to detect different patterns, growth trends, Customer behavior, and/or operational efficiency.

  1. *Responsible to prepare & provide the various monthly analytics reports & analytics visualization highlighting the possible effect on the bank performance indicators & different business opportunities
  1. Utilize & analyze internal and external data (quantitative or qualitative) to support fact-based decision-making while using the drill-down analysis moving towards the forecasting - prediction analysis while providing the analytics insights & recommendation.

  1. *Identify the needed reports from the bank’s internal sources: OFSA, workflow, scoring system, Delta (Oracle), Contact Center, ATM Data, POS & Operation data, etc.

  1. *Based on data Analytics, drive fresh initiatives & recommendations ensuring to be aligned with the bank vision/strategic orientation.

  1. *Work closely with Technical Management Division to build the backbone of the Bank data.
  1. Monitor & follow up on the initiative’s implementation & execution.

  1. *Present the insights on the risks and opportunities to the Head of Business Operational Analytics.

  1. *Analyze the root cause of any major changes to complement the full picture with the quantitative figures Analysis.

  1. *Ensure the correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that the bank business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules, and Regulations, as well as, International Standards.

  1. *Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible. 


Job Specifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Business Administration,
 Economics or Accounting or Finance.

Experience:

Min. of 4 years of experience in the same or related fields for Business Analytics & 
Data Sciences Senior Executive.

Corporate Banking Specialist - (2100017A)

Job Purpose

Assist the team in implementing the daily transactions of the corporate clients and coordinating with the various departments of the bank to ensure top quality service and efficient TAT.


Description

Account Management

1. Review daily balance of all clients and recommend the appropriate transfers/bookings to cover overdrawn accounts based on understanding of the customer’s facilities, limits, documentation and supports pertaining to each line. 

2. Issue the loan loss report segregated by R.R.

3. Communicate and coordinate with all departments to ensure the implementation of the clients requirements based on the approved facilities/services.

4. Seek assistance from supervising officer in case of complex enquiries or problems.

5. Monitor continuously customer facilities and support packages and ensuring full understanding the different facility structures. 

6. Assist Relationship officers in referring clients to the other lines of business based on understanding of the different departments scope of work e.g. account services, L/Gs, L/Cs, dealing, branches group and central operations…etc. 

7. Process simple client restructure memos.

8. Prepare monthly performance reports for direct and contingent facilities.

9. Accommodate customers’ business transactions and information requirements via different channels including online channels.

10. Maintain carefully Bank’s and Clients’ data, documents and forms in an efficient and timely manner, and according to the Bank’s SOPs and manuals.

11. Ensure awareness and adherence to the SOPs policies, Bank Code of Conduct, internal policies and procedures.

12. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and colleagues bank-wide.

13. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

14. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Corporate Banking department to ensure continuity of work.

15. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies (especially the Credit Policy guide) and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.

Qualifications

Qualification & Experience 

  •  Bachelor degree of Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or its equivalent.
  •  0- 2 years of experience in   banking operations is of added value.
  • Skills 
  •  Excellent command of English and Arabic languages, a third language is a plus.
  •  Excellent Computer Skills
  •  Strong communication Skills
  •  Self-Motivated 
  •  Ability to work under pressure
