Job Purpose

The BI Engineer will be part of the EX-Optimization team and will be responsible for analyzing a wide range of data to help inform Employee Experience Continuous Improvement and products conceptualization. BI Engineer will be responsible of the building data warehouses till Insight Generation to support the execution of the EX-Hub transformational agenda of streamlining and automating our e2e processes using fact-based data driven solutions.

Job Responsibilities

The BI Engineer will be responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative analysis and insight on projects. As such will need to be comfortable working on their own analytics projects and be able to work with specialist experts on larger, more complex briefs.

You will be a key part of a diverse and strategically important team that prides itself to provide innovative solutions in high-profile, complex projects on behalf of our clients and to bring inventive new approaches to our services and existing ways of working. Working alongside colleagues from the wider Europe, UKI & NAMETRUB Regions Your responsibilities will be as following:

  • Drive insights and analytical efforts by partnering with system owners across the company for immaculate & timely reports generation

  • Work with Data Technology Services for Employee Experience Business Data Lake & lead data engineering for process integration

  • Building and centralizing data warehouse from scratch for the EX-Hub

  • Building ETL logic and layer for effective data generation and visualization

  • Identify trends or areas for investigation from multiple data sources such as (Workday, Service now, Delve & EX Data and Reporting (e.g. UniVoice survey results))

  • Provide Data Analytics support for in-market and regional projects led by Hub Program Lead and workshop assessment teams

  • Monitor survey response rates across channels and identify opportunities to improve response rates

  • Deep dive for the insights, analyze multiple data sources to help understand the actions required for Employee Experience improvement.

  • Able to communicate the key findings and insight to senior stakeholders and peers both conversationally and in formal presentation style

  • Maintain knowledge of previous analysis to avoid duplication and to share learnings from relevant past projects

  • Working in large scale assessment groups to identify gaps in e2e process and areas of improvement

Job Qualifications

Educational & Job Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information systems or another related field

  • 5-8 years’ experience with proven track record of delivering integrated data to drive meaningful self-serve analysis and insight for multiple e2e processes

  • Experience in Semantic layer data model creation and maintenance, including real time and batch-based data loads

  • Implementing Data Management controls

  • Data Modeling /Data Model Interpretation & Database/Data Solution Design

  • Data Analysis/Profiling

  • Data processing and model optimization, including performance tuning

  • Data Visualization

  • Ability to design, develop and land research with impact on multiple markets for multiple e2e process

Technical Qualifications

  • Fluency in English Language (written and spoken).

  • Capability to drive insights from integration of different data & connecting the dots.

  • Proficiency in Service now, Workday, QlikView, Tableau & MS Power BI is a must.

  • Proficiency in at least one of Teradata, Redshift, SSIS, Informatica is a must.

  • Proficiency in at least one of SAS, SAS EG, MS SQL. Oracle, PL/SQL is a must.

  • Experience of DI Studio & SAS SQL, R, Shiny a plus.

  • JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins knowledge a plus.

  • SQL, OCP DBA certifications are a plus.

  • Project management certificate such as PMP, PRINCE 2, CSM, CSPO are a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive, SharePoint, Teams.

Behavioral Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail & proactiveness in spotting gaps and identifying the solutions.

  • Analytically minded and numerically oriented.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working with remote team members and stakeholders.

  • The ability to build strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in hub and with the global teams

  • Good understanding of continuous research data..
